The Student Life Committee (SLC) is a collaborative working group composed of Cardozo students, including members of the Student Bar Association (SBA), and Cardozo and Yeshiva administrators. At the SLC’s monthly meetings, student questions, comments and concerns are discussed, and the committee brainstorms proposed solutions.

This is what we have been working on this year!

What we have accomplished:

Clearer guidelines for when professors need to submit grades

Working clocks around the building

Better muffins, half and half, Splenda

Credit card machines in the cafeteria

More nutrition bars

Better notification when big events

occupy classrooms

Booklist published earlier

Bathroom cleaning during “off-peak” times

Fixed clock on SecureExam

Shorter instructions read 10 minutes before exam ends

Recycling textbooks

What we are working on:

Wireless printing

Clearer explanation of add/drop

Refrigerator space

More outlets in the cafeteria

We want students to:

Recycle more

Call Maintenance when you spill

Stop leaving trash in classrooms
